Clarificion from the agency Open to All U.S. Citizens Duties Help As the SLAC Site Office Manager, you will: Establish and communice Department of Energy (DOE) requirements and expections, authorize work, provide funding, review work products, and offer feedback to the Management and Opering (M&O) contractor, ensuring their adherence to all contractual requirements. Provide direction to the M&O contractor within the scope of work of the performance-based contract and within Departmental funding and program guidance. Develop and maintain an effective working relionship with the
SLAC M&O
contractor, ensuring implemention of best management practices to achieve program, project, and operional goals. Collabore with M&O contractor management to identify and implement actions th support high-quality science while adhering to relevant laws and regulions. Maintain comprehensive operional awareness of SLAC activities and facility conditions, serving as the owner for transactions affecting federal assets. Conduct outreach activities and represent DOE with various government officials, regulory bodies, and industry leaders to increase stakeholder involvement and public trust; negotie with other federal agencies to place work or utilize SLAC facilities. Maintain a deep understanding of laborory programs, operions, and performance issues, providing timely feedback to Office of Science management. Lead and manage the on-site Federal workforce, overseeing the Site Office budget and federal business systems to ensure effective and efficient operions. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATIONS
(ECQs): In addition to the Technical Qualificion Requirements listed above, all new entrants into the Senior Executive Service (SES) under a career appointment assessed for executive competency against the following five mandory ECQs.
