Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager / Used Car Manager to lead our automotive sales team and drive the success of our used vehicle operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process, managing inventory, developing strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your energetic leadership will motivate your team to achieve high-end sales targets while fostering a positive dealership environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate sales professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Responsibilities Lead and manage the used vehicle sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales goals through effective coaching, motivation, and performance management Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients, including B2B (business-to-business) outreach and outside sales efforts Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, proper pricing, and timely reconditioning of used vehicles Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and follow up with prospects efficiently Conduct negotiations with customers to close high-end sales deals while upselling additional products or services to maximize revenue Maintain excellent communication skills with customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction Coordinate marketing initiatives to promote used vehicle inventory through various channels including digital marketing and public speaking engagements Qualifications Proven experience in automobile sales, dealership management, or retail sales with a focus on used vehicles Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Excellent negotiation skills coupled with outbound sales experience and cold calling proficiency Knowledge of inventory control, retail math, and automotive market trends Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases Familiarity with CRM software tools and dealership management systems is essential Exceptional communication skills including phone etiquette and public speaking capabilities Demonstrated success in B2B sales, upselling techniques, and building long-term customer relationships Ability to lead a team effectively through coaching, support, and performance evaluations Join us as we drive excellence in used vehicle sales!
