Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and expertise for our livestock and ranch equipment company. Experience in the Horse and Livestock industry is a bonus. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store functions, drive sales growth, and foster a positive environment for both customers and team members. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and effective team management. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail setting and is passionate about delivering outstanding results. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize store performance Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high levels of employee orientation and engagement Oversee cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain financial accuracy Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to maximize profitability Supervise shift management activities including scheduling, cashiering, and customer service standards Conduct regular employee evaluations and provide coaching to foster leadership development and team growth Requirements Proven management experience in retail or livestock equipment environments with supervising responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Extensive knowledge of retail math, budgeting, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team management and supervising staff across shifts Familiarity with marketing strategies, merchandising techniques, and retail sales management practices Experience in managing wireless sales (Shopify) or similar product categories is a plus Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Join us as a General Manager to lead our team toward success!
