Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager/ Manager in Training to join our team. The person in this position assists the store manager in managing, coordinating, and executing all activities needed to perform an exceptional customer experience and maintain a fun, positive work environment. Responsibilities Assist in the daily operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained. Participate in employee orientation and training programs to foster a knowledgeable workforce. Support recruitment efforts by interviewing potential candidates and participating in the hiring process. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products effectively. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate payroll processing. Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and assist with budgeting and pricing strategies. Supervise team members, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and productivity. Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and improve store visibility. Maintain effective communication with staff and management regarding store operations and customer feedback. Light cleaning and maintaining of the store. Skills Proficiency in employee training & development, ensuring all staff are equipped with necessary skills. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Experience in retail management, including supervising experience and shift management capabilities. Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling best practices. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and upper management. Familiarity with inventory management, merchandising techniques, and retail sales strategies. Strong leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff towards achieving common goals.
