In this pivotal role, you will support the store's daily operations, lead a motivated team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will drive sales, optimize inventory management, and foster a positive shopping environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills to motivate staff and connect with customers effectively. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of customer service Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding service Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and loss prevention strategies Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions Handle cash register operations, cashiering duties, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff to meet store needs while optimizing labor costs Implement marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and enhance store visibility Requirements Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team effectively Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems, POS (Point of Sale) technology, and retail math calculations Experience with purchasing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting is preferred Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally using phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, pricing strategies, and merchandising standards Knowledge of retail sales techniques, marketing strategies, and store management best practices Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends as needed Join us as an Assistant Store Manager where your enthusiasm for retail excellence will inspire your team while delivering memorable shopping experiences.
