SUMMARY:
Pacific Park is seeking a Games Supervisor that thrives in a team environment and consistently provides great customer service. If you enjoy the ocean scene and work in a fun environment, this is the place for you. The Games Supervisor will provide great customer service and will assist with the training and development of employees in company policies, department procedures and job duties. Will also oversee and supervise subordinate employees and will provide direction within their assigned area. May assist with preparing schedules and will deliver action plans and progressive discipline notices.
PACIFIC PARK OVERVIEW
Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is LA's only admission free amusement park. We have rides, midway games, an oceanfront food plaza and a variety of retail experiences. The Park and Pier have more than 8 million visitors annually and we handle those crowds with 500+ full-time and seasonal positions that make up our highly diverse, dynamic and passionate team.
REPORTING
This position reports directly to the Games Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead by example and inspire the team to effectively uncover the customer's needs and present appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain the highest visual merchandising and house-keeping standards.
  • Prepare for and participate in inventories.
  • Communicate daily with the team; look for additional ways to drive business through product, processes, or people.
  • Ensure a safe working environment; inspect and correct work areas on regular basis; report all workplace injuries and concerns immediately.
  • Assists with the training & development of employees on policies, department procedures, and job duties.
  • Provide effective feedback on individual performance, celebrate success and highlight areas for development.
  • Supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote employee growth, efficiency, morale and teamwork.
  • Ability to recognize problems and to creatively and immediately find solutions.
  • Conduct daily team meetings.
  • Ensure all staff members are effectively trained to perform all job responsibilities.
  • Enforce Pacific Park policies, standards and dress code.
  • Follow cash handling guidelines.
  • Ensure that all staff members follow company break and lunch policies.
  • All other duties as assigned and needed.
  • All duties and responsibilities must be performed according to Pacific Park policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be available to stand for approx. 8 hours. Position requires constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, reaching, kneeling and crouching/ squatting.
LOCATION AND WORK ENVIORMENT
This position is located on the Santa Monica Pier. Year-round weekend and holiday work is required. This is a part time position, however peak periods may require 40 + hours/weekly.
