Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Grocery Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive sales growth, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain efficient store management. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize inventory control, and uphold the highest standards of store presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a bustling grocery environment, foster team development, and contribute to the overall success of the store. Duties Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling Develop team members to ensure a high-performing workforce Manage cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales Maintain inventory control through regular stock assessments, ordering, and stock rotation Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and health standards at all times Requirements Proven management experience within a retail or grocery store environment with supervising responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting techniques Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers and staff Expertise in POS systems, purchasing procedures, inventory management software, and retail math principles Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift schedules effectively Demonstrated experience in retail sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives Proficiency in cash handling, bookkeeping, budgeting, and payroll processing Exceptional communication skills along with organizational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced setting Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a grocery or retail store is preferred Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally using phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills Join us as a Grocery Store Manager where your leadership will make a tangible impact!
