Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as assistant store manager/ Store Associate. As the face of our store, you will provide exceptional customer service, process print, pack, and shipping services, and operate equipment such as copiers, fax machines, binding and laminating machines, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. You will advise customers on products, services, and best-value options, demonstrating confidence in industry best practices. Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in and telephone customers. Greet customers warmly, assist with product selections, and address inquiries. Process POS transactions accurately, following proper cash-handling procedures. Operate and maintain store equipment, software, and devices expertly. Maintain knowledge of products, services, promotions, and store policies. Cross-sell products and go the extra mile to drive sales and meet department goals. Take ownership of customers' shipping needs, offering viable solutions. Assist in stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. Address customer complaints promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members and supervise junior staff as needed. Stay updated on product offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred. Strong customer service focus with a friendly, energetic personality. Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and register operations. Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory procedures. Ability to work under pressure and resolve complaints timely. Prompt, reliable, and responsible with a professional appearance.
