Job Description

Job Summary:
The Door Shop Manager oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of trim, flooring, and related building materials. This position manages a team of warehouse staff while overseeing workflow, productivity, delivery and inventory control. Works closely with the Director of Operations to streamline operations and ensure efficiency in the movement of flooring and trim products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise multiple warehouse functions (receiving, inventory, trim production, picking, staging, delivery prep). 2. Lead and develop effective warehouse personnel to ensure an efficient, motivated, and skilled workforce. 3. Efficiently and accurately schedule for on-time delivery of orders, shifts, and workloads. 4. Manage and control inventory to maintain orders and efficiently meet delivery commitments. Identify and resolve order discrepancies, damages, or quality issues. 5. Oversee equipment and vehicle maintenance schedules. 6. Ensure the maintenance and security of the warehouse to preserve and protect company materials and assets. Maintain OSHA compliance. 7. Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse. 8. Work cross-functionally with all departments to ensure quality and an on-time and complete delivery schedule, and maximize productivity. 9. Provide leadership by following all safety policies and procedures and ensuring those procedures are followed by all staff. 10. Regularly review and provide input on warehouse processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement. 11. Lead training for future supervisors and associates. 12. Provide performance feedback and participate in employee evaluations.
Physical Demands:
1. Must be able to bend and lift as much as 50 lbs. 2. Must possess a valid driver's license. 3. Must be able to use tools. 4. Must be able to pack heavy materials and bend for strapping etc.
Qualifications:
1. 3-5 years warehouse experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role. 2. Strong knowledge of flooring, trim, doors. 3. Proven leadership and decision-making skills. 4. Strong multi-tasking skills.
Pay:
$70,304.00 - $75,000.00 per year
