This is a working role and the applicant and employee will be expected to be under hood 80% of the day or more. Metalcraft department Leads are responsible for the operation of their respective area. They are not tasked with managing employees, but instead the processes and procedures related to employees. MCI Leads are considered the technical expert for their area. They are required to use their years of experience to assist and aid in the efficient production of customer orders in their respective areas. The Leads are responsible for knowing all applicable procedures and will be relied upon to train others on same. Below is a list of duties the Lead may be required to perform, but not limited to. •
RESIDENT STATUS
•This position requires access to export-controlled technical data and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). In accordance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 CFR 120.62, applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual such as an asylee or refugee). Employment is contingent upon verification of U.S. Person status and successful completion of required background screening consistent with federal contract and CMMC Level 2 requirements. Duties Welding and under hood as primary function. Perform external setup on upcoming jobs, and job preplanning. Setup machines and submit First Piece to QA. Ensure jobs are running at or greater than estimate. Notifies Supervisor or CIM if un able to achieve estimated rates. Troubleshoots manufacturing problems. Monitors and utilizes GYRO screens for associate job assignment and department flow. Owns HRS SAT metric to less than 74 hour average. Maintains cleanliness. Monitors and requisitions inventory of MRO supplies. (oil, tools, deburring tools, etc.) Trains new hires or department transfers. Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
