Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our cafe! In this vital leadership role, you will oversee daily store operations and closing procedures and employees and most important, ensure exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive team environment, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the business. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong management skills, prior cafe or restaurant skills, and a passion for leading teams to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control Lead and supervise staff by providing training, coaching, and development to enhance team performance Oversee customer service excellence by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Multi task multiple orders at a time Assist with event planning and coordination Communicate clearly with the Manager regarding staff or product issues Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets while maintaining optimal store presentation and organization Qualifications Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory cafe or restaurant role with demonstrated leadership skills Strong knowledge of retail operations including POS systems, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base An up to date ServSafe Manager Certification is required Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and customer service standards Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail from cleanliness, cooking, and beverages is desired Join us as an Assistant Manager and be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering outstanding service while growing your leadership career!
