In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe work environment, upholding high quality standards, and increasing productivity to meet operational objectives. Primary Responsibilities Supervise and guide shop floor personnel in alignment with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards Cultivate a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all workplace safety protocols Enforce compliance with quality standards and assist in problem-solving and implementing corrective actions when necessary Manage daily production schedules, staffing levels, and resource allocation to achieve timely delivery, quality output, and productivity targets Support the introduction of new products, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives Supervise employee scheduling, training, performance development, and cross-training programs Forecast departmental staffing needs, equipment requirements, and capacity; assist in recruitment and workforce planning Lead and maintain lean manufacturing programs, including workflow optimization and workplace organization (5S) Requirements Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or fabrication setting is essential Thorough understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and shop floor operations Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms) is advantageous Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Capability to lead teams, prioritize tasks effectively, and instill accountability in a fast-paced production environment
