This role requires active leadership on the sales floor, regular interaction with customers and team members, and accountability for store performance, customer service, operational standards, and overall profitability. The ideal candidate must be customer-service driven, knowledgeable in fashion and brands, and comfortable actively selling merchandise on the sales floor while leading and motivating the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate store staff Lead the team in providing excellent customer service Actively assist customers on the sales floor and drive sales Maintain strong knowledge of current fashion trends, designers, brands, and resale values Monitor store sales, labor, and overall financial performance Manage store budgets and maintain accurate statistical and financial records Handle customer and consignor questions, concerns, and complaints professionally Oversee pricing, inventory flow, stock control, and merchandising standards Maximize profitability by setting, monitoring, and meeting sales goals Motivate staff to meet sales, consigning, and operational targets Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards Prepare and maintain promotional materials, signage, displays, and floor presentation Communicate regularly with the Managing Director and Office Manager Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional store environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to regularly bend, reach, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures Must be able to lift, push, and pull 25+ pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience required Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of fashion brands, merchandising, and resale retail preferred Ability to multitask and effectively manage store operations and staff Must be dependable, organized, professional, and team-oriented
