We are a family-owned precision machining and tooling company specializing in close-tolerance work, custom machined components, tooling, fixtures, EDM, grinding, and short-run production. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our CNC milling department and help keep jobs moving efficiently from start to finish. This is a hands-on position. The right person should be comfortable programming, setting up, operating, troubleshooting, inspecting parts, and helping guide the CNC milling department as needed.

mills 3-axis and 4th-axis milling capability Responsibilities Program CNC milling jobs using Mastercam 2026 Set up and operate Haas CNC milling machines Work with 3-axis and 4th-axis vertical milling centers Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, tolerances, and customer specifications Work from solid models and prints to create efficient machining processes Select tooling, speeds, feeds, fixtures, and workholding methods Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using standard measuring tools Hold close tolerances and maintain quality throughout the job Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed Edit programs at the machine when necessary Help organize jobs, prioritize workflow, and keep the CNC milling department moving efficiently Assist and guide other machinists/operators when needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications CNC milling programming experience required CNC milling setup and operating experience required Mastercam experience required Experience with Haas CNC mills preferred Experience with 4th-axis milling preferred Strong blueprint reading skills Ability to hold close tolerances Strong knowledge of tooling, fixtures, workholding, speeds, and feeds Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs from programming through completion Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication and leadership ability Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Preferred Experience Tool and die, fixture, prototype, or short-run precision machining experience Experience machining tight-tolerance parts Experience working from solid models Fixture design experience is a plus, but not required Experience leading a department or helping manage shop workflow EDM, grinding, or general toolroom experience is a plus, but not required About Us Noujaim Tool Co., Inc. is a family-owned precision machine shop located in Connecticut.
