Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team at Rent a Wheel. In this role, you will oversee sales activities of Wheels and Tires, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your energetic leadership will drive team performance, optimize inventory management, and support store growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with strong management skills and a passion for retail excellence to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Lead, motivate, and supervise sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships with shoppers Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members Manage cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and payroll processing with accuracy and integrity Coordinate shift schedules, monitor employee performance, and implement training & development initiatives Collaborate with management on purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and marketing activities Qualifications Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within retail environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and inspire high performance Excellent communication skills; bilingual is a plus Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, Tire sales and Fitment Knowledge Knowledge on budgeting, and cash handling procedures Experience with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training & development Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization Previous experience in retail sales, store management, or tire and wheels sales is preferred Join us as an Assistant Manager in Rent a Wheel where your leadership fuels our success!
