401(k) Competitive salary Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Job Summary Burrito Shak is excited to be opening our new Cape Coral location in early August, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to help build and lead our team from day one. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new restaurant opening and play a key role in establishing a positive culture, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensuring smooth daily operations. During training and the initial opening period, the Assistant Manager will work directly alongside the owners to develop operational excellence and set the foundation for long-term success. This position offers significant growth potential. As the restaurant grows, we anticipate creating a General Manager position, and qualified candidates will have the opportunity to advance within the company. General Responsibilities Ensure all food products meet Burrito Shak quality and safety standards. Monitor sanitation practices and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Receive and inspect food and supply deliveries for quality and accuracy. Order food, beverages, and supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Supervise and support kitchen and front-of-house team members. Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing staff. Work alongside team members to ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation. Maintain high standards of guest service and team performance. Help create and manage daily production schedules and labor schedules. Monitor labor costs and staffing levels to ensure efficient operations. Ensure all equipment is operating properly and communicate maintenance needs to ownership. Assist in maintaining restaurant cleanliness and organization throughout all areas of the business. Oversee service flow to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered efficiently. Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling, bank deposits, restaurant security, and daily operational setup. Support ownership in establishing systems, procedures, and team culture during the restaurant launch. Burrito Shak reserves the right to add or modify responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Education Associate degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Experience Minimum of 1 year of restaurant management or leadership experience required. Experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurant environments preferred.
