In this role, you will develop strategic sales plans, motivate your team, and foster strong relationships with clients to achieve company goals. Your leadership will ensure exceptional customer service, effective inventory management, and a vibrant retail environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence sales performance while cultivating a positive, energetic workplace culture. Responsibilities Lead and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching, training, and motivation. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to maximize revenue. Oversee daily store operations including merchandising, stock management, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure smooth workflow. Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a high-performing team. Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage. Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high satisfaction levels. Supervise shift management, cash handling, cashiering procedures, and payroll processing to ensure operational accuracy. Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales. Monitor retail math metrics such as sales per square foot, average transaction value, and conversion rates for continuous improvement. Maintain organizational skills for efficient scheduling, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred. Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in team management, training & development, and employee supervision. Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, merchandising techniques, and retail math principles. Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining compliance with company policies. Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity for time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and managing store budgets. Customer service expertise with phone etiquette skills and a focus on delivering positive shopping experiences. Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments involving wireless sales or merchandising is a plus.
