Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff during weekend shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care aligned with facility policies and regulatory standards. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medication administration, and physical examinations, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR systems). Oversee medication management, catheter care, adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents' cognitive and physical needs. Ensure infection control practices are maintained rigorously through aseptic techniques and proper specimen collection/processing procedures. Manage emergency situations effectively Maintain detailed medical documentation, including medical records, nursing notes, and incident reports, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Valid RN or LPN license with current state registration; prior supervisory or nurse management experience preferred. Demonstrated expertise in memory care or dementia-specific settings; experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges is highly valued. Strong background in geriatrics, senior care, or long-term care environments Knowledge of infection control protocols, medication administration procedures like vital signs monitoring. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork and professional development. Ability to handle complex cases involving Alzheimer's/dementia care with compassion and patience; experience in behavioral health is a plus.
