Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and store merchandising to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. The Store Manager will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, managing staff, and implementing strategic initiatives to meet business goals. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including employee orientation, training & development, and performance management Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and cash handling Manage inventory levels through effective inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising strategies Conduct recruiting efforts, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new employees to build a strong team Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping Implement pricing strategies and manage sales promotions to maximize revenue Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and inventory tracking Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly Coordinate purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships for supplies and inventory procurement Develop marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and sales performance Monitor retail math metrics such as sales management, budgeting, and inventory control to meet financial targets Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store standards Experience Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and inventory control Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and organizational skills Prior experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development is preferred Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Knowledge of budgeting, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and retail operations is highly desirable This position offers an opportunity to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced retail setting while developing your managerial expertise.
