Pet Store Retail Specialist

(If you do, you are clearly not the right fit) Part Time position: Retail Sales Specialist (FT possible always possible for the right experienced person) 20-30 Hours per week, includes some early evening hours and weekends (minimum of 1 weekend day required) Shifts can be 4 to 9hrs, within the stores needs New hire 90 day probation period Employee discount for personal use

Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older. Must be able to spend the majority of your shift on your feet without sitting. Must be able to use small ladder or step stool, hand truck, rolling cart etc. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs multiple times per shift. Must be flexible to work, mornings, afternoons, early evenings and weekend shifts within a set schedule while being flexible to achieve store coverage. Must like pets and have interest in helping pet parents. Must be able to multi-task wearing many different hats during your shift. Must be motivated and willing to learn about products, pet health & nutrition while keeping up with new product introductions. This is not your average retail store job. Must have the right personality to make customers feel at home. Duties include, not limited to: Greeting customers in a happy, positive manner. Opening/closing store responsibilities (key holder). Accountability for POS cash drawer, open/close procedures. Process customers purchases on store POS (computer system), basic computer skills a must. Assist customer with making the right choice of products for their pets needs. Assist customers with purchases out to their car.
