POSITION TITLE
Store Supervisor PURPOSE:
This position responsible for managing the ReStore alongside the General Manager and Co-Manager.
REPORTS TO
: General Manager
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN.
Store Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,Friday & Saturday 9am to 6pm | Wednesday 9am to 8pm | Closed Sundays. Must be available to work every Saturday with the exception of approved time off. Why work for Habitat GPBC? Read our story : www.habitatgreaterpbc.org
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure and maintain a high level of customer service Supervise pricing, display and sale of all goods Supervise donation processing Maintain staff and volunteer schedule Provide supervision, training, direction to all staff and volunteers Provide financial and operational reports to Store Manager Establish and administer Store policies and procedures Maintain safe, clean, organized work environment Communicate needs, goals, and ideas to Store Manager Assist staff as needed with store operations Perform other duties as directed on as-needed basis Establish weekly and monthly sales goals in conjunction with the Store Manager Track annual sales and trends to ensure sales goals are met Conduct weekly store meetings and document all store safety and policy meetings
Inventory/Procurement:
Establish and develop relationships with major "vendors"
Store Operations:
Implement and enforce consistent policies regarding: Pricing of goods Cash controls Store operating policies and procedures Employee scheduling Provide excellent customer service (to be determined through customer feedback)
Store Physical Plant:
Organize inventory within store to group all like items together Reduce clutter to enhance customer-friendly shopping environment
Experience:
One to two years of experience in a retail environment or customer service.
Preferred attributes:

Ability to work with and serve a diverse demographic. Strong aptitude to work in a team environment and to seek partnerships in planning and plan execution.
