$90,000/Year + Benefits Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor to lead the aircraft accessories department in Hialeah, FL. This role is ideal for experienced aerospace professionals with a strong background in component maintenance and repair, who are ready to take on a leadership position within a dynamic team. The position involves supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and driving efficiency in production workflows. Schedule & Shift Full-Time On-Site Primary Job Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day operations of the Accessories Department Lead, mentor, and develop technicians through coaching, training, and performance management Manage workflow, production schedules, manpower planning, and department priorities Support inspection, repair, overhaul, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, customer requirements, and company procedures Review units for repair evaluations and quoting activities Monitor department KPIs and production metrics Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Operations teams Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement Manage overtime requirements and staffing needs Assist with development of new repair capabilities and technical processes Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate Degree preferred 5+ years of aerospace, aircraft component maintenance, or landing gear repair experience Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations Strong communication and leadership skills Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and mechanical aircraft components Experience with aviation maintenance ERP systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and repair documentation
