Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Hardware Store Manager to oversee daily store operations at our Largo location. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage inventory, enhance customer service, and drive sales growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established company committed to excellence in retail hardware and mobile home parts. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance to foster a motivated team environment. Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, stock control, and merchandising to ensure product availability and optimal presentation. Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, cashiering, POS (Point of Sale) system management, and shift management. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations while promoting a positive shopping experience for customers. Requirements Proven management experience in retail stores, preferably within hardware or similar sectors. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory control, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math. Experience with employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development programs. Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, and store promotion techniques. Ability to multitask effectively with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities. Physical ability to unload heavy items (50+ lbs.) on a daily basis from delivery trucks and stocking. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Mathematical aptitude to accurately and quickly figure out customer estimates and quotes. Preferred Qualifications:
Basic Computer usage. Bilingual English/Spanish Clear Driving Record Forklift Certification Ability to work Monday thru Saturday is required. Full time employee benefits include Paid Vacation time after 1 year, Paid Holidays after 120 days, and 401K matching plan. Health, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental insurance benefit plans are available after 60 days. Compensation based on a 50 hour work week. No late evening hours, store closes at 5:00pm We are Closed on Sunday and Saturday's only 9:00am-3:00pm! Mobile Home Depot is a Drug & Smoke Free Workplace.

$44,330.00 - $48,620.00 per year
