Job Description

Monday-Friday 11am-7pm $15/hr plus tips Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bather/Closer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of animal care and bathing. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, providing essential bathing, grooming, and closing duties that contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your dedication will help create positive experiences for pets and their owners alike, fostering trust and satisfaction every day. Responsibilities Perform thorough bathing, drying, and grooming of animals to meet individual care needs. Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas, kennels, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Close the facility at the end of each shift by securing all areas and ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed. Feeding & medicating boarders. Engage with pet owners professionally, answering questions about pet grooming and care services. Checking out any later pick ups from the facility. Requirements Prior experience in dog training, pet grooming, or animal handling is highly preferred. Veterinary technician or assistant experience is a strong plus, demonstrating familiarity with animal health protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large animals or equipment. Strong knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet care best practices. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. Experience working with dogs, cats, or other animals in a kennel or veterinary setting is desirable. Willingness to learn new skills related to animal care and grooming procedures.
