Duties Support the Store Manager in executing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Lead and supervise sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees to build a high-performing team. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, payroll processing, and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance. Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales. Maintain a safe, organized environment by supervising stockroom organization, safety protocols, and cleanliness. Skills Strong leadership abilities with previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery settings. Proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, inventory management systems, POS technology, and cash handling procedures.
