What you'll do Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians in delivering high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services. Manage shop operations, including scheduling, workflow, and inventory management to optimize efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in vehicle maintenance and repair. Oversee customer interactions, addressing inquiries and concerns to foster strong relationships and satisfaction. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assist technicians with complex repairs, including auto body repair, detailing, and restoration. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition for all team members. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills in areas such as auto painting, glass replacement, and heavy lifting techniques. Basic qualifications Proven experience in a dealership or automotive repair setting with a strong understanding of vehicle systems. Preferred qualifications Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair. Familiarity with auto glass installation techniques. Experience in detailing vehicles to meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Background in auto restoration projects or automotive painting is highly desirable.
