As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring the store operates smoothly. • Duties
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of products to effectively demonstrate features and benefits to customers.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Supervise stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure shelves are well-stocked.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions.
• Collaborate with team members to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Requirements
• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in grocery or similar environments.
• Strong cash handling skills with an understanding of retail math principles.
• Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus but not required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered by the store.
