Unlike large classroom environments, our students work in small groups or one-on-one with Code Coaches who tailor lessons to each child's interests and skill level. Our Dunwoody location is part of a growing Metro Atlanta franchise serving hundreds of students across four locations.
We operate three main programs:
monthly recurring coding sessions, after-school coding partnerships with local schools, and seasonal coding camps. Our schools are high-energy, kid-friendly spaces where young coders build real projects, from games and apps to websites and robotics. The Role We're looking for an enthusiastic, organized Assistant Manager to help run the day-to-day at our Dunwoody location. This is a part-time position averaging 20-25 hours per week, with hours varying based on seasonal needs. Primary onsite hours are during after-school operations (typically 3-7pm weekdays with Saturdays 10-3pm) and off-peak hours for administrative tasks. This role is all about people and energy. You'll be the face of the school for families, the go-to person for our Code Coaches, and the driving force behind making the school a place kids love to come to.
Responsibilities School Vibe & Culture:
Set the tone for the location. Greet families, build community, keep the space organized and inviting, and make sure the school feels fun and energizing for kids and parents alike. Whether it's rearranging the space, planning a small event, or just making sure every kid gets a high-five, you own the experience.
Lead Management:
Respond to incoming inquiries from prospective families. Follow up with leads, schedule trial sessions, and guide families through the enrollment process. You'll be the first point of contact for many families exploring coding education for their children.
Parent & Student Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current families. Communicate proactively about their child's experience, address questions and concerns, and ensure parents feel connected and informed. Patience and great communication skills are essential.
Code Coach Scheduling:
Coordinate the weekly schedule for our team of part-time Code Coaches, ensuring proper coverage for all student sessions. Handle scheduling changes, manage availability, and keep operations running smoothly.
Experience & Qualifications Management or Supervisory Experience:
1-2+ years in a customer-facing role with some management, supervisory, or coordination responsibility (retail, services, education, or similar). Experience with
Kids:
Prior experience working with children or families is a strong plus. Teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience is valued.
Technology:
