StarBucks Assistant Manager

Duties Lead daily store operations, ensuring smooth food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction Supervise and train staff in food handling, safety protocols, POS systems (including Aloha and Micros), and customer service techniques Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize efficiency Oversee shift management, including scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards Assist in hiring processes by interviewing candidates and supporting staff development through ongoing training & development initiatives Maintain high standards of hospitality management by fostering a positive team environment and ensuring excellent guest experiences Monitor food production processes, kitchen management, and catering services to uphold quality standards Requirements Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in quick service & fast food environments Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise essential Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams within casual dining or hospitality settings Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee inventory control and budgeting tasks Excellent communication skills for staff training, interviewing, and customer interactions Previous assistant manager experience preferred; familiarity with kitchen management and culinary experience is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to lead with energy and enthusiasm.
