Weekend Assistant Manager Schedule:

Weekends required (Friday-Sunday), including holidays as needed Position Summary The Weekend Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting daily store operations during high-traffic weekend business hours. This role assists with customer service, employee supervision, merchandising, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced retail setting. Key Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily store operations during weekend shifts Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally Supervise and support sales associates to ensure productivity and teamwork Open and/or close the store following company procedures Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking merchandise Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention standards Help train and motivate team members to meet sales and service goals Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and communication between staff and management Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Reliable transportation and consistent weekend availability Basic computer and cash-handling skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Preferred Skills Knowledge of beauty, hair care, cosmetics, or beauty supply products Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to lead by example and support team success Work Environment This position requires working in a retail beauty supply store environment with frequent customer interaction and extended standing periods during shifts.
