The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining safety of guests. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for teamwork. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing staff and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure that the facility runs smoothly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing daily operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency and productivity. Provide exceptional customer service. Manage shifts effectively, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage for your shift. Support team management by training new employees and fostering a collaborative work environment. Assist in reception and/or animal attendant duties as needed to support overall operations. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment. Ensure medications are given accurately. Complete thorough temperament test evaluations on new canine guests to determine eligibility for future appointments/reservations. Arrange safe playgroups for canine guests that can be managed by animal attendants. Communicate behavior issues with pet owners. Qualifications Previous experience in kennel management or kennel attendant role is highly preferred. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills. Shift Times Shift times include a combination of 5am

• 2pm, 9am
• 5pm & 2pm
• 10pm.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. This also applies to Masters Week and summer months as these are considered our peak times.

Pay & Benefits:

The starting pay for the Assistant Manager position is $16-17 per hour, based on prior experience, and increases after successful completion of the 90-day probation period. Staff are eligible to receive tips, employee discounts, birthday pay & eligible for pay increases dependent on overall performance & attendance. Full-time employees are eligible for PTO, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) w/ matching, etc.
