Drive sales through effective merchandising, marketing initiatives, and promotional strategies while maintaining high standards of customer service. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure product availability and minimize shrinkage. Implement pricing strategies and conduct retail math calculations to optimize profitability. Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews for new hires, and ongoing training & development programs. Monitor store performance metrics, manage budgets, and handle payroll processing with accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and legal regulations; maintain organized records of all administrative activities. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, team management, and communication. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases. Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, cashiering, and merchandising is essential. Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training staff, and managing payroll & bookkeeping tasks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred; leadership qualities are a must!
