Position Summary The Store Manager is primarily responsible for the performance, customer experience, staffing and operational execution of the Kira x Miffy flagship location, while providing leadership oversight to the Aloha Kira Waikiki location through partnership with the Store Lead. This role spends the majority of the time on the sales floor connecting, coaching, selling, developing team members, and driving performance in the flagship store while ensuring consistency of standards, culture and execution across both Waikiki locations. Responsibilities Sales Floor Leadership & Customer Experience (60% ) Lead by example through active selling and customer engagement. Coach team members in real-time to improve customer interactions, sales behaviors, and product knowledge. Monitor sales performance throughout the day and adjust priorities as needed. Ensure every local and visiting customer receives a welcoming, memorable shopping experience. Team Leadership & Development (20%) Directly coach, mentor, and develop Aloha Kira Waikiki leadership. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members at both locations. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching conversations, and performance reviews. Delegate operational responsibilities appropriately while maintaining accountability for overall Waikiki performance. Build schedules that support business needs while maintaining labor goals. Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture. Store Operations (15% ) Optimize staffing coverage across both Waikiki locations, making strategic decisions based on business volume, traffic patterns, and sales opportunities. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Oversee cash handling, deposits, opening and closing procedures, and loss prevention practices. Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness. Partner with team members to support replenishment, restocking, and floor recovery. Merchandising & Inventory Support (5% ) Maintain company visual merchandising standards and presentation guidelines. Execute merchandising updates provided by brand leadership. Support inventory counts, receiving, transfers, and replenishment activities. Partner with buying and operations teams to identify inventory opportunities and concerns. Success Measures Sales Growth vs. Plan Retail KPIs (Conversion, ATV, UPT) Employee Engagement, Retention, & Promotions Staffing Coverage & Schedule Effectiveness Operational Compliance & Inventory Accuracy Qualifications 3+ years of retail management experience (multi-unit or flagship experience is a plus). Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive retail sales metrics. Strong coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to analyze business trends and translate metrics into action. Highly organized with strong operational and time-management skills. Comfortable working a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30-50 lbs. Reliable daily commute strategy for Waikiki.
