Maui Divers Jewelry is defined as a Manager who will drive sales and is responsible for all daily sales, achieving monthly/yearly sales goals, maintain/improve profitability. Provide leadership, guidance, motivation to the sales team, foster team work and deliver excellent customer service.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES

Maximize sales potential by spending 80% of time on sales floor; sets the overall pace by modeling selling behaviors and able to consistently achieve monthly SPH goals. Understands, demonstrates, and lives the company core selling values and expects the same of their team. Partners with Director to establish and communicate clear performance goals and objectives. Responsible for selling and training romance techniques, Assessment, Development, Retention, and succession planning for all sales professionals. Creates and maintains a customer-centric environment where all team members are engaged in delivering the Maui Diver's customer experience. Promotes financing with customers and builds the sales. Handle responsible for ensuring clean presentation standards and compelling visual merchandising with well-told product stories. Ability to schedule effectively to meet the needs of the business. Create weekly schedules and maximize store goals by reviewing reports. Communicates frequently and effectively with team members, peers, Director, and Corporate Partners. Responsible for awareness and management of all HR-related issues; partners with RD & HR as appropriate and with all elevated concerns that pose a liability to the company. Oversee all inventory of the store -control inventory by training staff on loss prevention procedures and by helping with monthly case counts. Knowledgeable on all policy and procedures -reinforce all policies and procedures related to providing a safe working environment. Open/Close function-handle cash and deposits, handle jewelry, returns, special orders, lay away and sizing requests, clean floors, showcases, and counters. Partner with maintenance team to identify and resolve all store housekeeping issues. Ensure security of the store is maintained monitor alarm and distribution of codes. Also the locks on the store are in working order.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Five years retail sales management experience.

Ability to resolve conflict and customer service issues Effective communication skills, time management, organizational skills, detailed and multi-task Ability to delegate and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Assess talent, coach, develop and manage performance of staff Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, POS, and cash handling Flexible in schedule to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to business needs Ability to stand for long periods of time, kneel/bend to low areas, and reach into small spaces if needed
