Full Job Description Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities :

A Nurse Manager for clinic staff is a leadership role responsible for directing daily operations, supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining regulatory compliance. They act as a liaison between staff and administration, handling staffing schedules, staff training, performance evaluations, and clinic budgeting.

Principal Responsibilities:

Staff Leadership & Management:

Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, assistants).

Operational Oversight:

Manage daily clinic workflows, optimize efficiency, and manage supply inventory.

Clinical Quality Assurance:

Monitor patient care for quality, enforce nursing standards, and implement evidence-based practices.

Administrative & Financial Duties:

Develop, implement, and enforce clinic policies and procedures. Manage department budgets, revenue, and expenditures.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and safety standards.

Communication:

Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Previous clinical experience required, often 3-5+ years. Leadership experience (supervisory or charge nurse roles). Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
