As the Supervisor Patient and Equipment Transport, you will oversee and train the staff responsible for safely transporting patients throughout the hospital, making sure every journey is handled with care, confidence, and compassion. What you will do!
  • Ensure competencies are met in regards to safe patient handling
  • Oversee the cleaning, readiness, availability and purchasing of specific equipment
  • Responsible for organizing and stocking of equipment throughout the hospital
  • Coordinate rental and specialty beds
  • Supervise the repair, maintenance and availability of hospital gurneys and beds
  • Oversee and bills for specific soft goods and equipment
  • Assist and participates in the annual budget process
  • Supervise and maintain the physical layout of clean utility rooms throughout the hospital What you will bring:
  • 3 years related experience or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of DNV standards and other position related laws and regulations
  • BLS certified
  • MOAB Certification Working Conditions
  • Bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
  • Typical equipment used in a clinical job
  • Reaching with hands and arms shoulder height or below
