Main responsibilities:

Support the Grocery Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Grocery Department, including Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer. Supervise, train, and support grocery associates to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations. Execute ordering, receiving, pricing, stocking, and merchandising to maintain product availability and presentation standards. Champion company customer service programs and professionally resolve customer questions or complaints. Maintain inventory control, minimize shrink, and ensure removal of out-of-code or discontinued items. Open and close the store and ensure compliance with cash-handling and sales accounting procedures. Ensure adherence to company safety, sanitation, security, and loss prevention policies. Act as Person in Charge (PIC), overseeing total store operations in the absence of the Store Director and Grocery Manager. Knowledge :

Grocery retail operations and merchandising practices Company policies, procedures, and customer service standards Loss prevention and cash control processes Front-end operations, including scanning and register systems Employment practices and applicable state and federal regulations Product assortment, perishability, and product location within a grocery environment

Abilities :
