Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales growth. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage a talented team, and ensure that our retail environment remains engaging, organized, and customer-focused. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize sales strategies, and uphold the highest standards of service and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about retail management and team development. Duties Lead and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, merchandising plans, and promotional activities to maximize store performance. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing decisions, and pricing strategies to ensure product availability and profitability. Oversee daily store operations including cash handling, cashiering, POS (Point of Sale) systems management, and shift management. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while fostering a positive work environment through leadership and motivation. Maintain administrative records such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory reports with precision. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations related to retail operations. Experience Proven management experience in a retail environment with a focus on sales management and team supervision. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, and cash handling. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through supervising experience in retail or related sectors such as grocery stores or wireless sales. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and build rapport with diverse customers; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, marketing strategies, retail math (calculations related to pricing and profit margins), and store management software. Experience in supervising inventory control processes including stocking, purchasing decisions, pricing adjustments, and inventory audits. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple responsibilities such as training & development, shift scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is highly desirable; leadership qualities that inspire teamwork are essential for success in this role.
