Job Description

Upscale Mail is a locally owned shipping, printing, and mailbox rental store built on fast service and friendly, dependable help. We're looking for a hands-on Store Manager to run day-to-day operations and lead by example at the counter. If you take pride in getting every package out the door right, every print job done well, and every customer treated like a regular, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Run daily store operations across shipping, mail, and printing, opening or closing as scheduled. Process domestic and international shipments (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL) accurately, including packing, labeling, and customs paperwork.
Manage the private mailbox program:

Deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone, resolving issues calmly and professionally. Handle point-of-sale transactions, daily cash reconciliation, and basic bookkeeping. Track inventory and supplies (boxes, packing materials, paper, ink/toner) and reorder as needed. Hire, train, schedule, and motivate counter staff, setting the standard for service and accuracy. Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming. What We're Looking For experience preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive, problem-solving attitude. Comfortable learning shipping, POS, and print software; solid basic math and attention to detail. Able to multitask in a busy environment and stay organized under pressure. Dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including some Saturdays. Able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bonus Points Experience with carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, USPS) or print/copy equipment. Notary commission or willingness to become a notary. Prior experience managing a small team or running a storefront. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience. A stable, locally owned business with a loyal customer base. Hands-on ownership of the store and room to grow with us. A supportive, friendly team environment.
