Position is not a contract. Position is for full-time employment in a licensed cannabis dispensary. Job Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Cannabis Dispensary Managers to lead our retail operation with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, ensure compliance with all regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive sales, manage inventory, and cultivate a positive team environment that promotes growth and success. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about the cannabis industry and retail management to make a meaningful impact. Duties Lead, supervise, and develop the dispensary team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff to foster a high-performing work environment. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising to ensure product availability while minimizing waste and loss. Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis sales, security protocols, and recordkeeping. Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives to increase customer engagement and revenue. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training on customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience for all patrons. Requirements Proven management experience (minimum 2-5 years) in retail sales or similar environments; previous management roles preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, POS operations, cash handling procedures, and retail math. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and lead diverse teams. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse customer base. Minimum 2-3 years in people management, including recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, payroll processing, and administering disciplinary actions and terminations. Familiarity with bookkeeping, budgeting, purchasing, merchandising, and store marketing strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations efficiently. Organizational skills combined with time management expertise to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the dispensary Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds as needed Ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs Eligible to work in the United States and ability to successfully pass a background check required for dispensary employee credentialing, per IDFPR.
