Job Description

Looking for a salon where you can stay busy, work with a great team, and actually enjoy your day? KidSnips in Chicago (Lincoln Park) is hiring a Licensed Hair Stylist / Cosmetologist to join our growing team! We specialize in kids' haircuts in a fun, supportive, fast-paced environment. If you're positive, professional, and great with people, you'll fit right in. ✅ No following required — we provide an immediate client base and steady hours from day one.
What You'll Do:
Provide excellent haircuts and customer service for kids and families Create a calm, fun experience (even for nervous kiddos!) Communicate clearly with parents/guardians Support daily salon flow, cleanliness, and teamwork Grow your skills with ongoing training and mentorship
What We're Looking For:
Current Illinois Cosmetology or Barber license Strong haircutting skills + great attitude Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Professional appearance and communication Kids' haircut experience is a plus (but not required!) Ability to work a flexible schedule including at least one weekend day
