Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Electrician Site Supervisor will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in conveyor installations. This role involves supervising a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision and Leadership:
Oversee and manage a team of electricians, providing guidance, training, and support. Ensure all electrical work is completed to code and meets quality standards
Project Management:
Plan, schedule, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in conveyor installations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
Safety Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and electrical codes. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments on installation sites
Technical Expertise:
Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting to detect faulty wiring or defective parts. Arrange for necessary repairs and ensure all electrical systems are functioning correctly
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of electrical redline drawings, project budgets, and work orders. Prepare and present reports detailing the status of electrical projects
Client Interaction:
Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders to clarify needs, manage expectations, and provide updates.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installation at least 2 years in a supervisory role
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Relevant electrical certifications and licenses. Valid Driver's License
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer knowledge, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet
SKILLS REQUIRED
Proficient in using electrical tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, voltage testers, and conduit benders. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics. Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E, OSHA) and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ENVIRONMENTAL/PHYSICAL FACTORS
The Electrician Site Supervisor will work primarily on-site at various conveyor installation locations throughout the US. This role will require travel and working in an industrial environment. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
