Job Description
Job DescriptionDomino's Pizza is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 544 W Jefferson St location in Springfield, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing proceduresManage and motivate team members to maintain high standards of service and productivityHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and friendly mannerEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and company policiesManage inventory, place orders, and maintain appropriate stock levelsAssist in training and developing new team membersRun shifts efficiently, including delegating tasks and managing employee schedulesHandle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial recordsCollaborate with the Store Manager to implement marketing strategies and achieve sales goalsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAssist in food preparation and delivery as neededQualificationsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamStrong math and problem-solving skills for effective money management and inventory controlExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanorDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in store operations management and employee schedulingEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periodsBasic computer skills for managing orders and inventory systemsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Previous experience in food service or retail management (preferred)Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices (preferred)Additional InformationWhat are we looking for? Assistant Manager:
- Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 30 people. You will need to use your stellar attitude and motivational skills to get them in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing all while creating a great place to work.
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver's license
- A great role model - you're the person everyone will look to. From being on time for your shift, to having a great attitude to customers and co-workers and even how you dress - you have to have high standards for yourself and the rest of the team.
- Our stores are open 365 days a week. Yes, that's right even on the weekends and the holidays; that's when we are busiest! While you schedule is pretty flexible, you have to be willing to work when the team needs you the most.
- You have to be at least 18 years old.
