We're looking for a commercially minded, high-energy, team-focused and professionally driven Operations Supervisor to co-lead our retail operations for the 2026 season! Job Highlights As the Operations Supervisor, you will assist the Area Manager in overseeing the photo and video retail operations located at Six Flags Great America . In this role, you are the front-line leader for the daily site operations by cheerleading (go team!), inspiring and motivating the team to maximize revenues (i.e., crush their daily goals!) while delivering the highest levels of guest service and support to the Area Manager and Regional Leader. This is an hourly role. Hours will fluctuate according to the location's operating hours, with summer season open all week. Location is open until November 30, 2026, with an opportunity to return next season!

What we do:

Our Photo Retail Staff work as a team to leverage technology for high-yield retail sales. They confidently approach guests, take quality photos, and sell products (digital images, videos, and prints) to meet their daily goals. Here's more of what you can expect: Working outdoors at various locations within the Six Flags Great America park. Confidently and respectfully oversee the photo retail operations, including weekly scheduling, payroll, inventory, and corrective action administration. Training and ensuring our retail staff successfully approach guests, take quality photographs, and sell our products to meet daily goals. Motivating and incentivizing the Retail Associates and Team Leads to provide a high-level of customer service while working as a collaborative team. Stepping in and operating digital cameras/media and handling money/credit cards (POS) to complete sales transactions. Being a Pomvom Role Model and creating professional and positive employee and customer experiences to maximize sales. Managing & developing our Team Leads as they assist in the day-to-day operation activities of the department. Collaborating with the other Operations Supervisor and company key stakeholders. Participating in the Retail Management bonus opportunity. Fostering a fun and rewarding environment that respects our company culture of diversity and inclusion. You don't need to have photo or video experience to be successful! You do need to be an eager learner, receptive to operating digital touch-screen cash registers and using professional walkabout cameras. Ideal candidates must have some retail/sales leadership experience and understanding of people administration (timecard management, scheduling..and other HR-related stuff).
