Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shop Manager to lead our automotive service center to new heights! In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily shop operations, coordinate a team of skilled technicians, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive the success of the shop by managing workflow, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and efficiency. Responsibilities Manage daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and ensuring timely completion of repairs and services Supervise and motivate a team of technicians, mechanics, and service advisors to deliver top-tier automotive service Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, and auto body work Drive sales through upselling additional services and parts while maintaining customer satisfaction and trust Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and proper documentation for all service work performed Handle customer inquiries with professionalism; provide clear explanations of repairs and estimates; resolve any concerns promptly Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies; manage cash handling and billing processes accurately Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management Extensive mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and repair expertise across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, oil changes, and diesel engines Knowledge of automotive estimating software and service writing procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with auto body repair processes and auto sales fundamentals is a plus Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as tire service, alignment, shocks & struts, air brake systems Ability to handle cash transactions accurately; experience with auto estimating tools preferred Join us as a Shop Manager if you're ready to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional automotive care! $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
