In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and implement effective sales strategies. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve targets, maintain high standards of merchandising, and foster a welcoming environment for customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the store's growth while developing your management skills in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales goals. Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development. Manage scheduling, shift assignments, and ensure proper staffing levels for optimal store performance. Implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to increase foot traffic and sales. Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budget oversight to ensure financial health of the store. Supervise inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, pricing adjustments, and shrink reduction efforts. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team meetings to foster a positive work environment. Skills Proven management experience in retail store environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred. Skilled in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation techniques. Proficient in retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and cash handling. Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, merchandising standards, and stock control practices. Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities. Experience in marketing initiatives, promotional planning, and customer service excellence. Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork and a positive store culture.
