Used Car Manager-Luxury Vehicle Dealership

Used Car Manager - Chicago South Suburban Dealership Large multi-franchise dealership organization and is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Used Car Manager for our Luxury Line Dealership. This position is responsible for managing the performance & activities of the used car sales department. The goal of the Used Car Manager is to achieve used vehicle sales volumes and PVR by providing training and leadership to the used car department and team members within the dealership. This is a supervisor position; not a wholesale position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing all areas of used car department, including but not limited to Retail, Wholesale, Inventory Acquisition and Marketing Train, lead, supervise and recruit sales professionals Work directly with employees to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process; develop strong closing skills Develop a strong and effective inventory mix and pricing to market of vehicles Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing retail sales Manage all other aspects of the used car sales department Coordinate with our service departments to help manage the reconditioning process of used cars

QUALIFICATIONS

2 years minimum used car management experience required Must have CRM experience and have the ability to desk deals Manage budgets for volume and PVR, and control expenses Understands and stays informed of federal, state and local regulations Strong computer skills (Excel, MS Outlook, Inventory +, V-Auto, Dealertrack

Solutions Inventory control management is a must to help manage used car turn policy Experience with high volume sales per month is a plus, must be able to multi task Great communication and track record of professionalism
