Job DescriptionThe Mold Shop and Machine Repair Supervisor is accountable for supervising hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation, along with all related design and specification activities.

The Mold Shop and Machine Repair Supervisor will:

Review bottle quality and mold equipment operating dataAnalyze blueprints, job histories, and specifications to make recommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changesBe responsible for department's preventive maintenance programConducts periodic inspectionsManage department KPI'sEnsure correct use of safety equipment and that safety policies are followedOversee Mold Maker apprenticeship programsThe Mold Shop and Machine Repair Supervisor should have:

Experience supervising and training employees and managing cross-functional teamsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationBe able to support job changes and improvement initiativesProject management skillsQualificationsHigh school diploma requiredBachelor Degree in Engineering is preferredStrong mechanical backgroundPrior mold shop operation experience is preferredDemonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.

Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience desiredWorking knowledge of SAP desiredAdditional InformationWhat we offer at

Salary Range:
The expected salary range for this position is between $105,000 - $115,000 and includes a possible 12% short-term incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. O-I offers a very generous benefit package - some of the highlights are:
