Retail Assistant Manager

Duties Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and oversee shift management to optimize store performance Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Must have customer service skills. bookkeeping, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and monitor retail math to track sales performance and budget adherence Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team effectively Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation Familiarity with retail math, sales management, budgeting, and cash handling procedures Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous experience with POS systems, wireless sales (if applicable), and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping.
