Tim Short Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Maysville •No calls or visits to the store•Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, aggressive and results-driven Automotive Sales Floor Closer to join our dealership team. This pivotal role focuses on finalizing vehicle sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through expert negotiation and relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail and automotive sales, with exceptional communication skills and a talent for closing high-end deals. As an Automotive Sales Floor Closer, you will play a crucial role in transforming prospects into satisfied customers while supporting the dealership's sales objectives. Responsibilities Engage with prospective buyers on the sales floor to understand their needs and present tailored vehicle options. Lead negotiations to close sales efficiently, ensuring mutual satisfaction and adherence to dealership policies. Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial contact through final paperwork, ensuring seamless customer experience. Utilize CRM software to track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain accurate sales records. Upsell additional products and services such as warranties, insurance, and accessories to maximize revenue. Conduct outbound calls and outreach efforts to generate new leads and re-engage previous customers. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clientele. Collaborate with sales support teams to ensure inventory availability and proper inventory control. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current marketing promotions, vehicle features, and industry trends. Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the marketing team for promotional activities. Experience Proven experience in automotive or retail sales, preferably within a dealership environment. Strong background in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or high-end sales environments. Demonstrated success in closing deals through negotiation, persuasive communication, and strategic upselling. Familiarity with CRM software platforms used for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines. Experience in inventory management, retail math, and organizational skills necessary for efficient deal closure. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset for engaging diverse customer bases. Excellent public speaking skills and confidence in presenting vehicle features to groups or individuals. Knowledge of automotive industry standards, dealership operations, and inventory control processes. Ability to handle cold calling, outbound sales efforts, and customer service inquiries professionally.
